I recently worked on an article for The Huffington Post about the Top 10 Surprising Foods That Contain Dairy. To prepare for this article I took a special trip to the grocery store to do some research on packaged goods and their ingredients.
There aren’t many places that my son with allergies to dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts and wheat can eat out, so when we find a vegan, gluten-free, peanut-free bakery that is not only allergy-aware, but also ridiculously delicious, I feel the need to share my positive experience with everyone!
Do ingredients NOT matter to the average person? No sarcasm intended - I’m asking this question seriously. It’s been many years since my household has been living with food allergies, so maybe I have become completely disconnected from normalcy.
