Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1⁄2 cup ground flaxseed (or ground chia seeds)
- 1⁄4 cup pumpkin puree (or unsweetened applesauce)
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1⁄2 tablespoon dried basil
- 1⁄2 tablespoon ground pepper
- 1 package sliced bacon

Meatballs:
- Place ground beef, ground flaxseed, sea salt, ground pepper and dried basil into a large mixing bowl and mix with your hands. Make sure you don't mix it too much, as the meatballs will be too dense when they are cooked.
- Roll the beef into 1 inch balls. Place raw meatballs on a plate.
Beef Lollipops:
- Preheat the oven to 375 F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Open package of bacon and cut in half crosswise.
- Wrap one bacon strip loosely around one raw meatball. Use a toothpick to hold the bacon in place.
- Place the raw beef lollipops in rows on the lined cookie sheet. Leave space in between each morsel so they don't stick to each other while cooking.
- Bake at 375 F for approximately 30 minutes.
