Ingredients
- 1 kilogram boneless pork roast (shoulder or butt)
- 3 apples (cored, peeled and cut into thin wedges)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1⁄2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 2 bay leaves
- 1⁄4 cup water

Instructions
- Place the apples and onion into the bottom of a slow cooker, and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Rub the pork roast with salt and pepper, and place it on the layer of apples and onions in the slow cooker. Pour the applesauce and water over the roast, and drizzle honey on top. Add the bay leaves.
- Cook on High setting for 6-8 hours. Serve the roast topped with the sauce, apples, and onions.
